-
Open Photoshop
-
Click New>>File
-
Choose your required size.I have choosen the default
size in this tutorial.
-
Select Layer>>New>> Layer
- Name this layer by double clicking it in the Layers Palete. If the
Layer's Palete is not visible Select Window>>Layers
-
Type some text on this layerUse a bold text and a
smooth text like “Vag Rounded”.Make it appear a little
fat and bigger.
-
Create a new layer as shown above. This layer will
be used to add the glow to the text.
-
Control + click the text layer( for eg the wow layer
in my example). You will see a marching ant selection .
-
Choose Select >> Modify >> Contract. Choose
a value that will sufficiently contract the size of the text. The
more you contract the sharper will be the glow.
-
The next step is to add the glow. This is quite interesting.
Make sure your foreground color is black and background color is white. To
confirm press D (default).
-
Press Control + Backspace to fill the selection with
white color.
-
Select Filter >> Glow >> Gaussian blur.
Choose an appropriate value. I would like to recommend a value in
the range of 1.9 to 2.3. But finally your choice matters.
-
But to make it more realistic let us move the glow
to the left ( or to the right if you want). To do this, select the
move tool by pressing V and move the white glow to the left of the
text towards up.You will finally have a gel text effect.
